Pathfinder is committed to achieve a high standard of health, safety and welfare for its employees when at work and as far as is reasonably practicable, the safety of all visitors. Pathfinder  accept that it is their legal duty, in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, to protect so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety of its employees whilst working at Pathfinder sites. It is also the legal obligation of every employee to take reasonable care to avoid accidents to themselves and others.  Our Statement of Health and Safety is to provide adequate control of the health and safety risks arising from our work activities;

  • to consult with our employees on matters affecting their health and safety; 

  • to provide and maintain safe equipment; 

  • to ensure safe handling and use of substances

  • to provide information, instruction and supervision for employees;

  • to ensure all employees are competent to do their tasks, and to give them adequate training

  • to prevent accidents and cases of work-related ill health; 

  • to maintain safe and healthy working conditions; and 

  • to review and revise our health and safety policy as necessary at regular intervals.
